It's truly a great time to be a Kansas Citian. This public meeting is the second round for a study on an east-west transit corridor in Midtown Kansas City, one that may be a new streetcar line.
You can learn more about the study and the proposed route at:
20 years ago, Mike earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). 20 years later, the university hired a firm to contact alumni - Mike included - and ask about their experiences for a (very expensive) anniversary project. Thankfully, they offered the audio to Mike for free, so instead of having to pay over $100 for the opportunity to listen to it, we give you this bonus episode.
Also, Go Roos!
We're tackling citizen journalism today as our intrepid host attended public meetings for the Kansas City Royals' proposed Downtown ballpark district.
